Default Snow and getting to jobs in London!

So Im guessing everyone has seen the news and all the hype about the snow that about to fall anytime now? If not see here - BBC News - Heavy snow forecast for many parts of UK

So what are you guys thinking? Will you all still be able to get to work? Or do you think its going to be like Feb when almost everything closed down because it snowed? I know where I work we are all being asked to be prepared to do our jobs from home "just in case" and only those that live close enough are going to be expected in should the worst happen!

Don't you think its about time the UK was better prepared for this kind of thing? I mean how many countries stop just because of a bit of snow? Whya re we not better prepared?

Sally wot kind of preparations can one take when it snows heavily though? if the streets are too dangerous to drive on and there are heavy snow storms and no visibility id rather stay indoors than take the risk of having an accident dont you think? Thing with weather it that there is just no way of controlling the outcome and one just has to live with the consequences of whatever follows.

Yeah at my work they were all preparing everyone to be able to work remotely from home! But in the end it wasnt that bad and most of us made it in!

Its all icey now though - I nearly skidded on the way to work and fell flat on my face! Luckily I grabbed a bush nr me and stopped myself

I think it is silly though - what happens here when we get a lil snow dont you? I mean look at other countries where it snows heavily, they are prepared and always manage to carry on as normal - here everyone shuts down business and goes out to build a snow man! Crazy isnt it?

Fortunately i dont come from a country where it snows at all, iv seen snow twice in my lifetime it was fun all the same while it lasted and that was about 3 or 4 days then it all melted away.

Lol sorry that must have looked quite funny, but im sure quite dangerous at the same time, one could hurt oneself quite badly slipping on ice, not too long ago my washing machine pipe got loose and i slipped in the water which was all over the floor, i was black and blue and knocked my head on the wall, painful stuff.

In hindsight anyways! It would have made a good clip for you've been framed haha! Oh well no one witnessed it!
